Electro-Mechanical Engineering students finished u Electro-Mechanical Engineering students finished up their week by connecting and operating air logic circuits and troubleshooting motor control systems. ⚙️⚡️

Precision Machining drilled holes for turning and milling projects. Students also continued their independent projects, including work on the CNC mill to make a piece for the Welding Technology class’ iron working machine! 🔥

Yesterday, Dental Assistant students made digital impressions of teeth that would be sent to a lab to 3-D print crowns, bridges, and dentures! 🦷😁 They also mounted full-mouth series of X-rays, ran through composite procedures, and practiced digital charting.

Animal Production has been busy, visiting several farm shows and working farms! Students attended both the Pennsylvania Farm Show and the Keystone Farm Show, and they have toured dairy farms and even Powl’s Feed! 🐮🤠

The Elizabethtown and Manheim Lions Clubs have ann The Elizabethtown and Manheim Lions Clubs have announced their January Students of the Month! 👏🌟

Jonah Miller, @easdbears, the Elizabethtown Lions Club Student of the Month, is enrolled in the Welding Technology program at Mount Joy Campus. He’s always enjoyed more of a hands-on learning environment, and he believed our Welding Technology program would provide him with the best challenges to grow from. Jonah has been involved in our Student Ambassador leadership program for three years. He said he has come to appreciate and value the mutual respect in working with campus staff. Jonah currently works for Highland Tank through an Advanced Placement Internship (API) at CTC. He aspires to work full-time in the Welding industry upon graduation.

Gabriel Barber, @manheimcentralsd, the Manheim Lions Club Student of the Month, chose our Electro-Mechanical Engineering program after being introduced to the basics last year in our Introduction to Manufacturing Careers class. Through the introductory class, he discovered a strong interest in robotics, hydraulics, and motor control. He applies these skills in his Advanced Placement Internship (API) at Electron Energy Corporation in Landisville, where he works two days per week. Following graduation, Gabriel aims to continue working full-time in the electro-mechanical engineering and manufacturing industry.
