Mount Joy’s Intro to Manufacturing students fini

Mount Joy’s Intro to Manufacturing students finished up their last batch of butterfly, ladybug, and bee garden decorations yesterday! 🐝🐞 Several students started work on a grill while others repaired broken welds on an ag trailer ramp for their end-of-year projects.

Meanwhile, our Willow Street Future Farmers of America chapter held its last meeting of the year, complete with an awards ceremony. 🐴 Kendall H. received her FFA Keystone Degree and Kayla E. received second place in the county and region for the FFA Agricultural Education CDE Competition, for her lesson on alpacas and llamas! 🦙 Congrats to both, and to our FFA Chapter Degree recipients and to the 2024-2025 FFA Officer Team!

Curious what Willow Street’s Nursing Assistant /

Curious what Willow Street’s Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide program and Future Farmers of America chapter have been up to lately? ✨

Over the last few weeks, NA / HHA visited the Body Worlds exhibit in Philadelphia at the Franklin Institute 🫀 and watched two live surgeries via Zoom (a Watchman procedure and a hysterectomy). This week, students are working on CPR and First Aid. 🩹 On Friday, two students will be pinned at Eastern Mennonite University for completing their CNA program! Congratulations!👩‍⚕️

Meanwhile, our FFA chapter attended the Lancaster County FFA Banquet this week. 🐄 Kayla E. won second place in the area of Ag Education! 👩‍🏫 Nicely done, Kayla!

Today at Brownstown, Intro to Transportation stude

Today at Brownstown, Intro to Transportation students serviced spark plugs and changed oil filters. ⚡️ One student also listened to diagnose an engine hissing noise!👂

Meanwhile, Computer Networking students checked inventory, completed CareerSafe objectives, and worked on personal projects. 🖥️ One student is setting up an online retail store complete with point of sale systems and databases!
