Daytime Program

Timeframe: 12 months
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–3 p.m. (Theory) 
Monday through Friday 7 a.m.–3 p.m. (Clinical Experiences, timing may vary)

Evening Program

Timeframe: 18 months
Days/Times: Monday through Thursday 4:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m. (Theory) 
Monday through Friday 4:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. (Clinical Experiences)

Licensure

NCLEX Exams


Following graduation, and after all academic, clinical, and financial obligations have been met, you will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX exams. Upon successful completion of this examination, you’ll be a licensed practical nurse within Pennsylvania.

Program Requirements


  • High school transcript and/or GED transcript
  • Successfully pass TEAS 7 (Test of Essential Academic Skills) entrance test
  • Criminal record check, FBI criminal history, child abuse history clearance
  • Physical exam (including two-step PPD, drug screen, immunizations [MMR, hepatitis B, varicella, flu vaccine])
  • Current CPR (Healthcare Provider)
  • Attend student orientation/interview
