Last Friday, our Medical Assistant program welcome

Last Friday, our Medical Assistant program welcomed Lancaster Orthopedic Group. Representatives shared their experiences in orthopedics and advertised their job opportunities. 🩻✨ The company also brought various braces and splints for students to practice placement on a patient. Bonus: our MA program got to keep all of the supplies!

Today, HVAC/R students installed and reinstalled d

Today, HVAC/R students installed and reinstalled different types of HVAC systems. They focused on the running of refrigerant lines, gas lines, exhaust piping, and the wiring associated with these systems! 🔥

Brownstown’s Introduction to Transportation class worked on brake systems, servicing calipers, drums, and shoes. 🚙 They just finished their fuel and cooling systems units, and in a few weeks, they’ll start their steering and suspension systems units!

The Introduction to Construction class installed PEX supply line piping for plumbing systems in their mini house projects. 🏠 Next week, they’ll begin their electrical unit, installing light switches, fixtures, and receptacles. They also received a grant from our Foundation to help pay for new windows and doors - the next unit after electrical! ⚡️💡
