Our SkillsUSA chapters competed in their District competition this week, held at Reading-Muhlenberg CTC! Well done to all who participated, and congratulations to our award-winning competitors! 🏆🌟 First-place winners will advance to the State competition in April, where our District Pin Design and T-Shirt Design champions’ art will be used for State competition swag!

Today, Early Child Development students started a

Today, Early Child Development students started a new classroom rotation in Bright Horizons Child Care! And the Grinch made a special appearance in the center, but don’t worry! Santa is still on his way to Mount Joy. 🎄🎅

Meanwhile, Carpentry students are building hunting blinds! The frames are complete and they are now adding sheets of metal to the outside. These multi-purpose structures are for sale, at a base price of $245 for the frame and $400 for the frame with metal. Several add-on options are available. Please email jasmith@lancasterctc.edu for additional information!

Additionally, Carpentry made progress on the house project! 🏠 Their main focus today is adding trim. In other updates, the driveways outside were recently completed, and electricians and painters are scheduled to work on finishing touches in early January. 🔥

This year’s holiday card contest winner was Yirvic, an Intro to Visual Communications student at Willow Street, from Penn Manor! 🌟

Each year, our Visual Communications programs compete within and between their classes to produce the CTC’s holiday card. 🎁 Cards are shared with district leadership, industry partners - and you!

Due to the continuing impacts of inclement weather

Due to the continuing impacts of inclement weather, LCCTC will be operating on a two-hour delay tomorrow, 12/16.

Note: Students should follow the instructions provided by their high school regarding transportation to the CTC.

CDL classes will run as scheduled. All remaining Adult Education programs, including Practical Nursing, will open on a two-hour delay.

Offices will also open on a two-hour delay.
