Tammy Karpinski is an instructor of Health Care Cluster and Introduction to Health Careers for the past eight years at the Brownstown Campus. Mrs. Karpinski graduated from Wilkes University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and has been an RN for over 25 years. Mrs. Karpinski has four sons and lives in Lancaster with husband Jed and their golden retrievers, Bo and Jackson. In her free time, Mrs. Karpinski likes to read, do projects around the house, and spend time with friends and family.

Tanya Long is a registered nurse that graduated first in the class from St. Joseph School of Nursing and Magna Cum Laude with a degree in nursing from Millersville University. Tonya is a Certified Vocational Instructor for the state of Pennsylvania from Penn State University. She belongs to the St. Joseph Hospital Alumni, Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau Xi Chi Honor Societies. Tonya has several years of nursing experience in various environments including hospitals, satellite facilities, nursing home environments and instructional environments. Tonya has also served on the Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation Scholarship Committee, a judge for the Distinguished Young Women of Lancaster and is the state Chairman for the Medical Terminology contest held by SkillsUSA. Tonya enjoys reading, swimming and walking in her free time.

Mrs. Smith is a registered nurse and has been employed by the CTC for over 15 years. She has her Master’s degree in Workforce Education and has obtained her Principal and Director’s certification. She has worked as a Critical Care nurse before working at the CTC. She spends free time with family. Her goal with students is to help them succeed with an attitude of if you think you can…
