Willow Street’s Introduction to Transportation cla

Willow Street’s Introduction to Transportation class, led by instructor Mr. Donny Lingle, will see their education roar to life this weekend on Saturday, May 9, in the Tuff Truck Challenge at the Buck Motorsports Park in Quarryville! 🤩🛻 Entry begins at 4 PM, and the event starts at 7 PM. General admission tickets are $25 day-of.

CTC students over the years have worked and raced this same truck at the Buck, but it’s been a while. Students from the class of 2025-2026 fabricated a new dashboard, installed gauges, and wired up emergency cut-out switches for racing. They’ve signed it too! ✍️ Alums in attendance tomorrow who have worked on the truck will be invited to sign it as well.

Weather permitting, Mr. Lingle will drive the class truck around the Buck’s race course and show off its modifications. Super cool!

The third issue of the LCCTC TechTalk literary magazine is now available! 🌸📘 To read, please visit lancasterctc.edu/news.

TechTalk is a space for all CTC students - high school and higher education alike - to explore and express their creative sides. The magazine’s Editorial Committee explains, “Everyone has a talent in areas outside a major. It can be photography, layout and design, writing, or other areas. TechTalk hopes to provide a platform for those other talents for as many students as we can.”
