The third issue of the LCCTC TechTalk literary mag

The third issue of the LCCTC TechTalk literary magazine is now available! 🌸📘 To read, please visit lancasterctc.edu/news.

TechTalk is a space for all CTC students - high school and higher education alike - to explore and express their creative sides. The magazine’s Editorial Committee explains, “Everyone has a talent in areas outside a major. It can be photography, layout and design, writing, or other areas. TechTalk hopes to provide a platform for those other talents for as many students as we can.”

Brownstown’s Digital Design and Print Media class

Brownstown’s Digital Design and Print Media class designed and produced a mini comic book for distribution at local stores on “Free Comic Book Day!” 💥📕 For the comic book industry, this day is the equivalent of Black Friday - most retailers report hosting 500 to 1,000 customers!

To participate, our students produced about 1,500 copies of their comic for even distribution at The Comic Store and 4th Wall Comics in Lancaster, Complete In Box in Ephrata, and Keystone Comic Den in Manheim - the last of which is owned by an LCCTC alumnus!

Isabella J. illustrated the comic, Gabe M. completed the lettering, and most of the class assisted in print production and saddle-stitching assembly. Well done, all! 🌟
