Intro to Health at Willow Street trained towards their CPR certification today! 🫀⚡️ This week, students are learning how to properly administer chest compressions and rescue breaths. To pass their certification, they must keep a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute on average. While we still love “Stayin’ Alive” by The Bee Gees (104 beats per minute, or BPM), our students found some other pop songs that meet CPR criteria!

Happy Monday! ☀️🕶️ Each campus celebrated the school year a little differently today. Willow Street’s FFA chapter held its annual Fun Fair - there was a petting zoo, a few home goods vendors, kettle corn popcorn, police and fire demonstrations, fresh milkshakes, horse rides, raffles, fair games, and more! 🐮 Meanwhile, Brownstown hosted a Picnic Palooza with lawn games and Mount Joy had its 2nd Annual Car Show. 🚙

Mount Joy’s Intro to Manufacturing students fini

Mount Joy’s Intro to Manufacturing students finished up their last batch of butterfly, ladybug, and bee garden decorations yesterday! 🐝🐞 Several students started work on a grill while others repaired broken welds on an ag trailer ramp for their end-of-year projects.

Meanwhile, our Willow Street Future Farmers of America chapter held its last meeting of the year, complete with an awards ceremony. 🐴 Kendall H. received her FFA Keystone Degree and Kayla E. received second place in the county and region for the FFA Agricultural Education CDE Competition, for her lesson on alpacas and llamas! 🦙 Congrats to both, and to our FFA Chapter Degree recipients and to the 2024-2025 FFA Officer Team!
