Out at Mount Joy, Precision Machining students are

Out at Mount Joy, Precision Machining students are working with manual lathes to craft pegs for their own “peg solitaire” games! ⚙️ They’ve also used manual mills to complete NIMS skill projects and are engraving with 3D models on Autodesk Fusion.

Electro-Mechanical Engineering is finishing up their soldering unit! 🔥 Next up are their motor control modules and troubleshooting. A few students are wiring electric motor control units, while others are prepping to start their co-op positions!

Stop by Brownstown on Tuesday to explore careers in Construction Technology and Visual Communications! 📸 Peek into Advanced Manufacturing, Culinary Arts, and Education classrooms on Wednesday at Mount Joy. 👩‍🏭 Discover a new career path in the Medical, Dental, or Transportation industries at Willow Street! 🩺

Yep, our CDL students are out learning and practic

Yep, our CDL students are out learning and practicing their skills in all conditions - even yesterday’s heavy rain! ☔️ Students conducted pre-trip inspections of their vehicles, performed offsets, and got out on the road. Their destination: Red Lion!

Meanwhile, adult Welding students kept warm by TIG welding and completing basic grid work. A new class of Basic Welding just started, while an earlier cohort is prepping to graduate on December 9th! Of the 11 nearing graduation, nine already have jobs lined up. 🔥

Earlier this week, Intro to Culinary at Willow Street deboned chicken to make chicken stock with the bones! 🦴 Today, they crafted pumpkin cookies with cream cheese icing and cosmic cookies with a melted chocolate drizzle.

Plus - two Practical Nursing students, Sophia and Chayla, organized a scrubs drive, complete with a coffee truck! 👩‍⚕️ Heavy Equipment recently visited Hinkletown Quarry - thank you for the tour and great conversations! 🦺
