Mount Joy’s NTHS chapter is asking for your suppor

Mount Joy’s NTHS chapter is asking for your support in donations to their winter wear and “Friend to Animals” holiday tree! 🎄🐶🧤 New items - winter hats, gloves and mittens, scarves, pet food, and pet accessories - may be brought through December 16. The class with the most donations collected will win a special prize!

The “Thank You for Being a Friend to Animals” Drive will benefit the Pet Pantry in Millersville, and is a part of the Betty White Challenge.

While our full-day programs took their pre-NOCTI exams, Mount Joy’s Intro to Construction class continued work on Christmas tree personal projects, and on their mock houses! 🎄🏠 Currently, students are delving into roof framing and interior finishing.

Across the hallway in Intro to Transportation, students balanced and changed tires, torqued wheels, changed a battery, and learned about engine timing! 🚙✨

Two final celebrations to share today!

Three students in our Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide class attained their EMU certificates and attended a pinning ceremony this week! 🩺 They rocked it out for six weeks, keeping up with both CTC and EMU classwork. Well done! 👏

On Monday, our Cabinetmaking program was recognized by the Borough of Denver for their craftsmanship and delivery of their new boardroom table! ✨ Thank you, Denver, for your partnership - our students loved the opportunity to have their work showcased so prominently.
