From soldering copper pipes for a water heater attachment, to exploring how bathroom pipes work together behind the walls, our Plumbing students are learning the ins and outs of residential systems today! 🚽🧻 They have been working through their task lists, gaining real experience with fixtures like toilets and showers. 🚿

Due to inclement weather, LCCTC High School and In

Due to inclement weather, LCCTC High School and Intergenerational classes will have a Virtual Learning Day today, 12/2. Classes will start on a 2-hour delay, at 10:00 AM. PM half-day classes will start 12:30 PM. Half-day students, your instructors will contact you regarding assignments for today.

All of Adult Education is now operating on a virtual schedule.

LCCTC buildings and offices will be closed today. Office staff will be working remotely.

Adult Education update: Adult Education remains on a virtual schedule; this includes EFDA tonight. Additionally, Adult Welding is cancelled for this evening.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁 The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center is grateful for the dedication and commitment of our students, staff, and community partners. 🌟

Our high school programs are closed for the holiday from November 26 through December 1. Classes resume on December 2. Staff, there will be an in-service held on November 26.

Practical Nursing will be closed for the holiday from November 27 through December 1. Classes will resume on December 2.

All remaining Adult Education programs will also be closed for the holiday from November 27 through December 1, with classes resuming on December 2. Additionally, evening classes will be cancelled on November 26.

Congrats to Christian and Isabela, our Lions Club

Congrats to Christian and Isabela, our Lions Club Students of the Month for November! 🍁✨

Christian Rosado Berrios, the Elizabethtown Lions Club Student of the Month for November, is a student in our Interactive Media and Web Design program. Whether he’s coding a website, editing video content, or collaborating on a group project, Christian consistently brings focus, originality, and problem-solving skill to everything he does. He approaches challenges with curiosity and persistence, often exploring new tools or refining his work until it meets professional standards. In his spare time, Christian enjoys playing basketball and computer coding. He aims to attend Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology to pursue a degree in software engineering.

Isabela Parraga, the Manheim Lions Club Student of the Month for November, is enrolled in our Advanced Health Careers program. Isabela actively participates in clinical experiences to gain hands-on skills, practice medical terminology, and explore her career interests while meeting new people. Isabela is involved at her campus as a Student Ambassador and SkillsUSA officer; she’s also a member of the Spanish Honor Society at Manheim Central High School. After graduation, Isabela plans to begin her career as a nurse in the ICU before continuing her education to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). She also plans to complete her Phlebotomy Certification and pursue further studies at St. Joseph’s University.
