Certifications You’ll Earn

Safety comes first! Students will earn their OSHA Certification at the beginning of the year to understand all of the safety regulations for their worksite or lab space.

Gain competency in the performance requirements necessary to perform the duties of a fire inspector.

Learn the basic life saving skills required for EMTs in Pennsylvania.

Hone your skills as an emergency telecommunicator.

Career Pathways

Firefighter

Control and extinguish fires or respond to emergency situations where life, property, or the environment is at risk. Duties may include fire prevention, emergency medical services, hazardous material response, search and rescue, and disaster assistance.

Police and Sheriff Patrol Officer

Maintain order and protect life and property by enforcing local, tribal, state, or federal laws and ordinances. Perform a combination of the following duties: patrol a specific area, direct traffic, issue traffic summonses, investigate accidents, apprehend and arrest suspects, or serve legal processes of courts. This career path includes police officers working at educational institutions.

EMT

Assess injuries and illnesses and administer basic emergency medical care. This may involve transporting injured or sick people to medical facilities.
