Students participating in TIHS can earn transcripted post-secondary credits to a LCCTC degree program. These credits may also be accepted at other higher institutions.

Dual Enrollment students can enroll in approved courses offered by partnering colleges. These courses, taught by qualified LCCTC instructors match the curriculum and assessment standards for the partnering colleges.
SOAR is a program from the Pennsylvania Department of Education that can offer higher education credits for skills and tasks learned at the secondary-school (high school) level.
Preparing students to continue their learning and offering them the best options to manage that are two of the primary goals of the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center. Not only do we train your sons and daughters for a trade, WE ALSO ready them for higher learning. The LCCTC offers several Pathways toward Higher Education.
Our Technical Institute in the High School Credits offers direct college-level credits for the courses that your children take at the LCCTC during high school. Currently, we offer these credits for our Automotive Technology program but we have plans to offer more programs in the future.
