We're currently seeking a Rental/Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) Manager to lead the daily operations of our rental, repair, warehouse, and delivery functions. This role is key to driving department performance, building a strong team, and ensuring our customers always receive the tools and support they need.
Who We're Looking For:
– Experience: Previous experience with Outdoor Power Equipment parts, parts look up, and knowledge of equipment & use for our rental department and OPE sales is required.
– Motivational Leader: 3+ years of leadership or management experience is preferred. Able to lead and support a team fairly and consistently, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
– Organized & Strategic: Skilled in time management, delegation, and project coordination with a sharp eye for department improvement.
– Relationship-Builder: Maintains strong customer and vendor relationships while fostering internal teamwork and growth.
– Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with (or willing & able to learn) retail systems, POS platforms, and rental software.
– Physically Capable: Can stand, walk, lift, and move equipment or inventory up to 60 lbs. as needed.
– Growth-Minded Partner: Ready to work alongside ownership to strengthen the department and support long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee the daily operations of the rental, outdoor power equipment, repair, and warehouse departments.
– Lead, train, & support a team of 6–8 employees, fostering a service-focused, high-performing culture.
– Manage scheduling, inventory accuracy, merchandising, and vendor coordination.
– Promote exceptional customer service through active coaching and hands-on leadership.
– Monitor budgets and department performance, taking action to improve results.
– Ensure safety, compliance, and a clean, well-organized store environment.
– Attend weekly manager meetings and support cross-department collaboration.
– Work a full-time, flexible schedule: 40 hours/week, including one weekend day; typical hours are 7:00 AM–4:30 PM.

– $60,000+ annual salary, depending on experience
