Position Summary:
We are seeking proactive and eager Technician Apprentice for the upcoming 2026 pool season starting in Spring. These roles will be in the field servicing residential and commercial swimming pools with responsibilities and compensation increases based on their growing experience. We are hoping to find candidates to grow from these entry-level positions to become experienced technicians with training and career development programs sponsored by the company. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outside and wants to learn a new industry or someone with previous experience in pool maintenance looking to join a career track.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with water testing and treatment under the direction of senior technicians
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and emptying baskets
• Backwash and clean filters, remove debris, and maintain overall pool cleanliness
• Support basic equipment maintenance and repairs (e.g., replacing skimmer baskets, pump lids, or hoses)
• Maintain organized and clean company vehicles, tools, and job sites
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies while working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Communicate professionally and courteously with homeowners and property managers
• Assist with renovation and construction projects as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager
Required Qualifications:
• Education from a trade school or vocational program
• Experience: No direct pool experience required
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
• Must be available to work during the full operating season (March 1–November 30)
• Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with flexibility for overtime or weekend hours as needed
• Have dependable transportation to work
• Ability to frequently pull, push, lift equipment and tools in excess of 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and a team-first attitude
• Willingness to learn technical skills and follow instructions
• Dependable and punctual, with a positive and professional demeanor

Compensation & Benefits:
• Hourly: Position is paid depending on experience, with time and a half for overtime.
o Pool Technician Assistant: Starting at $17.00 per hour
o Junior Technician: Starting at $20.00 per hour
