Under the Street Superintendent’s supervision, this position operates light, medium or heavy equipment and performs road maintenance, repair tasks, and other related tasks.
Requirements: Any combination of education and experience which indicates possession of the skills, knowledge and abilities listed below. An example of acceptable qualifications for this position is possession of CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) and previous equipment operation and laborer experience. The ideal candidate will also have:
• Thorough knowledge of equipment maintenance practices and procedures.
• Ability to operate light, medium or heavy equipment under little or no supervision.
• Ability to operate manual, pneumatic and power tools.
• Ability to demonstrate polite and courteous manner toward the general public.
Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, with the anticipated starting salary of $53,971.
