Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, tools, buildings and other physical structures in an industrial establishment, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, & LP gas systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE, TROUBLESHOOTING AND REPAIR of a variety of woodworking equipment, including CNC machines.
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION, FABRICATING AND REPAIRS such as building and repairing carts, racks and other metal or wood items
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF BUILDINGS & GROUNDS, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting; providing some housekeeping services; Repairing and replacing lighting lamps and fixtures, maintaining grounds, including snow removal and other duties as needs require.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment including CNC equipment
Ability to work safely and correctly with electric, hydraulic, pneumatic and other industrial mechanical and automation controls
Effectively use tape measure and other measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
Excellent attendance and punctuality record
Available to work non-regular hours (i.e. early mornings, late nights, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years working in industrial environments
Qualified to work with 480 volt 3-phase electricity
Experience reading and interpreting diagrams, schematics, drawings, and other related documentation
Familiar with proper Lockout/Tagout Procedures
Basic facilities maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry
Knowledge of metal working and welding processes
Fundamental computer skills in Microsoft Word & Excel and Maintenance Management Software
Experience operating snow plows and skid loaders for snow removal
Physical Demands:
Regularly stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or control; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
Frequently stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and climb / work at heights up to 20 ft. using ladders and scissor lift truck
Occasionally lift and/or move (push / pull) items up to 100 pounds
