SHIFT AVAILABLE:
2-2-3 12-hour Straight Nights, 7:00-7:00!
Every other weekend off!

STARTING PAY:
-Slitter Operators – $19.80+/hour
-Press Operators – $23.75+/hour
-Wax Coaters – $18.03+/hour
Based off skillset
Plus $1.25 night shift premium!

WHAT PRESS OPERATORS GET TO DO
-Operators will lead in all aspects of operation of Press lines including changeovers, machine start-up, running and shut-down.
-Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety.
-Run all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, print specification, color folders and standard operating procedures.
-Ensure all appropriate paperwork is filled out accurately and completely. This includes, but is not limited to; production reports, job verification sheets, ink usage sheets, QA reports, roll tickets (all flags are recorded), S.O.C sheets and all others as assigned.
-Work with and direct the press assistant and pit crew to minimize job change-over and down time.
-Train and direct the press assistant to become efficient at all the required assistant duties defined in each level of the assistant training matrix on time.
-While also knowing and understanding the role in product safety.
-Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work)
-All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management ​

WHAT SLITTER OPERATORS GET TO DO
-Able to navigate BMS and SOC System to verify machine set up and materials required to slit an order.
-Operate both slitting and rewinding equipment in a safe manner.
-Assure all jobs are run in accordance with all written manufacturing specifications including manufacturing packing specs, customer specs, and standard operating procedures.
-Properly complete all paperwork including production reports, SOC reports, cleaning logs, QA reports, etc. Enter accurate data into SAP.
-Works to minimize job change-over, machine start-up, shut down, and clean-up time.
-Operate overhead hoist and pallet jack. Improve efficiencies with reduced returns & less waste.
-Communicate with press operator and Shift supervisor any quality issues that would arise.
-Monitor product quality from press and slitting process.
-Follow all FSSC requirements to maintain food safety of the product.
-All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Scheduled work hours and mandatory overtime as needed.

WHAT WAX COATERS GET TO DO
-Prepare Wax Coater Components; impression roller is correct by job size.
-Verify Raw Material stock.
-Understand customer requirements and maintain the quality of the order as it is running; splicing the roll, roll identification and completion of the order.
-Establish run conditions and weights; run to established conditions once SOCs are set
-Proper machine wash-up and housekeeping.
-Prepare and complete necessary daily paperwork.
-Complete 5S/housekeeping logs.
-Facilitate and enforce all of the company policies and procedures as they are outlined and defined.
-Awareness of and adherence to all suitable and relevant health and safety policies.
-All other duties as assigned by Shift Manager and/or Management.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Ability read, understand, and follow customer specifications
-Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
-Forklift experience preferred
-Must have basic computer skills to complete tasks in operator software
-Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors
