Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This role blends clinical expertise with administrative support, making you an essential part of delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
The ideal candidate will excel at maintaining professionalism, communicating effectively, and ensuring a smooth patient flow from check-in to follow-up. You will work under the direct supervision of the provider for all medical and surgical procedures, while also reporting to the Nurse Manager for clinical and administrative guidance.

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:
– Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care.
– Obtain accurate vital signs, triage patients, assess medical conditions, and prepare patients for exams and treatments.
– Collect, document, and manage medical data in the electronic medical record system.
– Notify providers when patients are ready and communicate relevant symptoms or questions.
– Assist providers with patient treatments, including administering injections and medications as prescribed.
– Collect, process, and document lab specimens and related paperwork.
– Handle prescriptions, sample medications, refills, and referrals as directed.
– Educate patients and families by providing instructions and follow-up information, including test results and vaccine reviews.
– Maintain a safe, organized office environment, including receiving, storing, and restocking supplies.
– Support efficient patient flow by scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and assisting with administrative duties assigned by the Nurse Manager.
– Adhere strictly to facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
– Foster a positive, professional atmosphere through clear communication, teamwork, and respectful interactions with patients, families, and team members.
– Demonstrate flexibility by covering staff vacations or absences as needed.
– Minimum education and professional requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
Employee must be 18 years or older;
High school graduate or equivalent;
Current LPN Licensure;
Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a medical office is preferred but not required;
Possess active listening skills and empathy toward others;
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
Possess strong organizational and analytical skills and be detail oriented;
Ability to follow well-defined instructions and comply with regulations, standards, and company policies & procedures;
Schedule: Weekly schedule will fluctuate between 35-40 hours. One evening (1-8) per week and one Saturday (8am-Noon) per month. Flexibility is important.
