Requirements
We are searching for a candidate with:

High School Diploma/ GED
Trade or vocational school graduation preferred
Prefer Journeyman or Electrical Certification

Experience:

Over 5 years in an industrial environment.
Ability to use measuring equipment
Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools
Mechanical aptitude and ability
Good troubleshooting skills
Working with and be able to interpret drawings and specifications.
Must be able to work well with others and provide project leadership on build and repair projects
Use advances shop mathematics
Work from complex drawings, specifications, sketches
Knowledge of fundamentals of electricity, code requirements for wiring and installation
Use all types of precision measuring equipment
Must have a strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting
Solid computer skills (e-mail, Excel, Oracle)
Detail- Oriented- must be able to make decisions, plan, preform and detect faulty equipment
Previous machine building experience a plus

Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

Electrical:

Sensors and Control Circuits
Wire circuits as directed.
Receive direction from supervisor and job instructions from Electrician A and Electrician B on complicated and high voltage work.
Work from wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, floor layout and work orders.
Troubleshooting and Repairing: (Using sophisticated electrical measuring and testing instruments)
Sensors and Control Circuits
Electrical motors and drives
Power Transmission Systems
Packing Systems
Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems
Install and maintain or repair complex automatic electrical and electronic controls.
Establish and install equipment for secondary distribution centers
Tear down complex units, determine extent of difficulty, repair or replace defective components and wiring.
Repair and replace defective armatures and field coils.
Respond to emergency power failures and diagnose difficulties.
Prepare wiring diagrams as required.
Provide training to lower classification of electricians as needed.
Fabrication:

Guarding and related safety devices
Control panel mounting and installation
Detect faulty equipment and report to the necessary supervisor.
Safety
Must follow all safety policies
Performing safety inspections on electrical components and electrical systems.
Mechanical:

Work involves the assignment to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and fluidic repairs and new construction operations requiring involvement with equipment and other plant layout changes.
Make layout and fabrication drawings for the replacement of shafts, spare parts, brackets and other additions for plant equipment.
Work from drawings, sketches, machine operation and maintenance manuals, work requests, and oral instructions.
Perform diversified and somewhat difficult work including analytical troubleshooting and complex maintenance functions.
Use a variety of precision instruments and considerable judgment in working effectively and efficiently in diagnosing, dismantling, repairing, lubricating and reassembling units.
Using skills to work on general and technical maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipe fitting, and general machining for items requiring a close tolerance.
Rebuild and maintain primary roll forming, stamping, molding, and ancillary equipment throughout the plant
Periodically inspect the conditions of the plant operating machines and equipment for preventative maintenance purposes.
Detect Faulty operations and diagnose malfunctions and provide remedy.
Maintain specific records of work performed, details of repairs and material usage

Located in: Lancaster, PA
Shift/hours: Sun – Thurs, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM with occasional Friday nights
