We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer & Operator to join our team and play a critical role in producing custom parts using state-of-the-art multi-axis CNC machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operation to produce complex parts with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Programming & Setup: Develop and modify CNC programs for multi-axis machines using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam) to produce parts from wood, plywood, MDF, and other materials.
• Machine Operation: Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines to machine parts according to specifications.
• Tool Selection & Setup: Choose appropriate tooling, adjust machine settings, and calibrate tools for optimal performance and precision.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications, utilizing measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure continuous production.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Safety: Follow all safety protocols and ensure the workspace remains clean and organized.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience programming and operating multi-axis CNC machines.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with CNC programming software and ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality control and the ability to produce parts with high precision.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot machine problems, and propose effective solutions.
• Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in CNC machining or related fields is a plus.
