About the Clinic for Special Children: Since 1989, the Clinic for Special Children (CSC) has provided patients from primarily Amish and Mennonite communities with innovative, culturally competent, personalized medical care. The CSC cultivates special interest and expertise in genetic disorders of the Plain people and the provision of care to underserved populations.

Position Summary: The Medical Assistant assists in providing day-to-day clinical and administrative services to medically complex children and adults. Daily responsibilities include rooming patients, phlebotomy, cleaning and preparing exam rooms, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments.

Minimum Requirements to apply: High School diploma or equivalent required. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited medical assistance program or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
