ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cabinetry Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in cabinet making, installation, and repair, and is confident using a variety of woodworking tools and machinery. If you take pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail, we want to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build, assemble, repair, and refinish cabinets and wood structures
• Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely and efficiently, including:
• Wood plane
• Chop saw
• Table saw
• Drill (including angle/bender drill)
• Other cabinetmaking tools
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and materials according to specifications
• Install cabinetry at job sites with precision
• Perform repairs and adjustments to existing cabinets
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven experience in cabinet making or woodworking
• Strong knowledge of woodworking tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Physical ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Formal training or apprenticeship in carpentry/cabinetry
• Experience with custom cabinetry or high-end finishes
• Knowledge of different wood types and materials
