Position Title: Body Shop Technician Assistant
Reports To: Body Shop Manager
Facility Assigned: Bird-in-Hand (BIH)
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Position Type: Full time/Non-Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY
The Technician Assistant will work alongside coworkers to prepare apparatus for customer pick up, complete various facility maintenance tasks, and utilize their CDL for customer apparatus delivery and pick up. The Technician Assistant will work alongside other facility employees and customer service employees to achieve optimum efficiency and excellency in customer service, in keeping with the values and vision of Glick Fire Equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Disassemble damaged and undamaged parts in preparation of paint and/or body work as needed.
Assist with maintaining all shop equipment.
Pick-up and deliver customer apparatus and parts.
Complete lite facility maintenance tasks around the Body Shop.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
PA Commercial Driver’s License with air brake & tanker endorsement is required.
