This is more than just an internship—it’s a rare opportunity to learn the auction business from the inside out and build a long-term career in the equipment industry.
You’ll work directly with the owner, VP and managers of a successful auction business specializing in heavy equipment, ag, and construction gear. You’ll learn how to evaluate machinery, secure consignors, manage listings, and eventually take ownership of key buyer and rep responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities
Research and determine market values for equipment across multiple categories
Assist with evaluating purchases and preparing listings for auction
Identify and contact potential consignors (local businesses, farmers, contractors)
Travel to equipment sites for inspection, photos, or meetings
Participate in auction setup, sale-day operations, and post-sale processes
Learn how to close deals and grow into a full-time buyer/auction rep role

Requirements
2-year minimum commitment (we’re investing in your development)
Signed non-compete agreement
Valid driver’s license + willingness to travel
Interest in ag, heavy equipment, or auction work
Self-starter, motivated, and eager to learn from real experience
