As an Appearance Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the appearance of vehicles held in storage as well as the vehicles getting ready for sale or consignment and rented vehicles most would call this a Detailer position. The Detailing will include Washing, Waxing, Interior Detailing, Engine Bay Detailing, Undercarriage Detailing, Vacuuming & Window Cleaning. The Appearance Maintenance Technician’s responsibilities in our facility will include but not limited to sweeping, pressure washing, general cleaning, dusting, and organization.
We are seeking a Full-Time Appearance Maintenance Technician. No experience necessary, we will train the right person. If you can bring, positiveness, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and the ability to self-manage (when necessary) you are who we are looking for. Vehicle Related tasks – including but not limited to:
1. Wash & dry vehicles
2. Apply waxes and sealants
3. Vacuum interiors
4. Wiping & detailing interiors
5. Washing & de-greasing engine bays & undercarriages
6. Maintain appearance of storage and Max 56 vehicles through water-less methods
7. Regular detailing of MMC shop fleet
Facility Related Tasks – including but not limited to:
8. Wash & fold laundry as needed
9. Maintain a clean and organized shop
10. Perform minor shop maintenance when instructed
11. Sweep and mop shop floors
12. Wipe down lifts and clean lift trays as needed
13. Support team members as needed
Must have a good driving record, valid driver’s license and transportation to and from work. Starting hourly rate is $16-$18/ hour with a $2 per hour increase with trailer pulling experience.
