Program Overview
What is the Construction Center?
The Construction Center consists of the nine full day programs: Architectural CAD/Design, Cabinetmaking & Wood Technology, Commercial Construction, Electrical Construction, Heavy Equipment Operation and Basic Maintenance, HVAC/R Painting and Interior Finishes, Plumbing, and Residential Carpentry. All are full-day programs which teach students the skills needed to attain an entry level position in the construction industry in the specific fields chosen by the students. All programs offer students the opportunity to earn industry-specific certifications and experience cooperative education, meaning that students can work out in the field during school day to get a better picture for what a day in the life of a construction professional will be like.
