Certifications You’ll Earn

Safety comes first! Students will earn their OSHA-10 Construction Certification at the beginning of the year through CareerSafe to understand all of the safety regulations for their lab space.

The Core Curriculum Certification from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is an entry-level credential to introduce students to foundational skills common across all construction trades. These skills include, but are not limited to, basic safety, construction math, construction drawings, hand and power tools, and employability skills.

Students in this program will earn several safety certifications in class through the American Ladder Institute to prevent falls while at work:

  • Articulated Ladder Certification
  • Mobile Ladder Certification
  • Single and Extension Ladder Certification
  • Step Ladder Certification

The Fork Lift Operator Certification from the National Safety Council ensures a student is trained to operate powered industrial trucks, or forklifts, safely in a workplace setting.
