Certifications You’ll Earn
Safety comes first! Students will earn their OSHA Certification at the beginning of the year to understand all of the safety regulations for their lab space.
Our Articulation Agreement with ABC Keystone Allows students who complete our Metal Fabrication Program to enter into year two of an ABC Metal Fabrication employee-sponsored apprenticeship.
Safely operate a forklift in industrial settings.
Career Pathways
Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings. Work may involve: setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal; shaping metal over anvils, blocks, or forms; operating soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts; or inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints of burred surfaces.
Fabricate, position, align, and fit parts of structural metal products.
Raise, place, and unite iron or steel girders, columns, and other structural members to form completed structures or structural frameworks. You may erect metal storage tanks and assemble prefabricated metal buildings.
