Role Description :
This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in York, PA. The Truck Driver will safely operate company trucks to transport cast iron parts, materials, and finished products between local Donsco facilities, suppliers, and customers. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and unloading cargo, and maintaining accurate delivery logs and paperwork. The driver will comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies, communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams, and report any vehicle or delivery issues promptly. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized vehicle and representing Donsco professionally during all interactions. Set hours each week.
Qualifications :
-Valid CDL Class A license and a strong track record of safe Truck Driving experience.
-Proficiency in operating and maneuvering commercial Trucks in varied traffic, weather, and loading conditions.
-Knowledge of DOT Regulations and commitment to following all federal, state, and company safety and compliance standards.
-Experience with loading and Unloading freight, including securing loads to prevent damage and ensure safety.
-Clean driving record and ability to pass required background checks and drug/alcohol screenings.
-Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks.
-Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
-Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
-Physical ability to lift, move, and secure materials as required by the job.
-High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in manufacturing or industrial distribution is a plus.
