Role Summary
This is a full-time role for a mechanic position based out of our locations in New Holland, Leola, and Lititz, PA. This position will be responsible for assisting the logistics and operations teams in the coordination of equipment repairs and maintenance to ensure the success of the operation. This role will work in conjunction with our Logistics and Operations Directors for daily tasks and assignments and will report to the Logistics Director.
Role Specifics
Position Description:

Main Responsibilities-
• Assist in development and manage implementation of preventative maintenance program for all semi-trucks, semi-trailers, straight delivery trucks, pickup trucks, and other equipment owned or used by Five Points Ag Service including carts, pumps, unloaders, sprayers
• Work with director of logistics to coordinate repairs to all equipment of Five Points Ag Service and related companies
• Conduct periodic inspections of all equipment to ensure that everything is in good working condition
• Be willing to travel to repair broken-down equipment
• Work with Director of Logistics and Director of Operations to coordinate equipment service and maintenance schedule
• Develop and maintain inventory of commonly used service and repair and service items
• Assist in driver evaluation in terms of pre and post checks
• Assist Director of Logistics and Director of Operations in preparing a maintenance and capital improvement budget

Other Responsibilities-
• When deemed necessary, help in logistics or operations as needed to fulfill customer orders

Qualifications: The ideal candidate would have or be willing to obtain the following-
• CDL class A
• PA inspection license (category I & III)
• Preferred: 3 years’ experience in equipment repair and maintenance
