We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow alongside our team.
In this role, we will provide the training necessary for you to become a proficient Draftsman specializing in SoftPlan. You will learn to create high-quality drawings that effectively communicate architectural concepts and technical details to customers, colleagues, code officials, and subcontractors.
What You Will Do:
You will become fluent in all stages of custom residential design, including:
Customer Vision:
– Preparing 2D drawings and 3D renderings to bring customer needs and wants to life.
Project Estimating:
– Developing accurate bid prints for the estimating process.
Permitting:
– Preparing comprehensive drawing sets for local building authorities.
Code Compliance:
– Ensuring all building plans meet current residential code requirements and safety standards.
