CounterTek Inc. is a small locally-owned business in Ephrata, PA. We manufacture and deliver custom-made vanities and countertops to our customers in the kitchen and bath industry. Our products include laminate and postform countertops, solid surface countertops, and cultured marble vanity tops. We currently have an opening for a Service Technician. This is a full-time permanent role.

Starting Pay is $18-$20/hr.
Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30am-2:30pm with some variation and some overtime.
No evenings or weekends.
Pay is based on experience, but extensive training will be provided. All candidates will be required to undergo a background check and drug screen. A clean driving record and DOT medical exam are also required.

Job Summary: Responsible for template, installation, and repair of Company-made countertops on-site while maintaining a professional demeanor. Customer satisfaction is our goal and providing excellent customer service is important in this position. This is a customer-facing position, which requires professionalism and friendliness. Ability to understand measurements and solve problems is paramount. Light carpentry skills are necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Safely load and unload service vehicle with required materials and tools. Arrive at scheduled appointments within an agreed-upon window of time. Communicate with customer and scheduling if appointment time will not be met. Perform template and installation services for custom countertops. Cleanly remove existing countertops if required for effective repair of issue reported. Troubleshoot any technical problems related to repair as they arise. Record complete and accurate notes related to project. Contact office to resolve any concerns that cannot be addressed at jobsite. Complete template or field measurement should a replacement top be required. Possess extensive material and product knowledge. Be able to provide contractor, builder, or homeowner on site with information regarding options and repair requirements. Possess excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers in their homes. Complete repair inspection and jobsite clean-up prior to leaving the site. Review care and maintenance instructions as required with end user. Care for and maintain company equipment used in installation process.
