We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to perform both administrative and patient care duties while maintaining professionalism and excellent communication skills. The LPN will play a crucial role in assisting with efficient patient flow, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the healthcare team in providing quality care.
As an LPN, you will work under the direct supervision and authority of the provider when performing medical and/or surgical procedures during patient care. You will also report to the Nurse Manager for administrative supervision and will receive orientation regarding the area's policies and procedures. Additionally, you will help organize the office environment and contribute to a smooth and effective healthcare experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:
~Assist in providing patient care under the supervision of a healthcare provider.
~Perform medical and/or surgical procedures as directed by the provider.
~Maintain clear and concise communication with patients and team members.
~Organize and maintain a safe office environment to ensure patient safety.
~Assist with the efficient flow of patients in the office.
~Carry out administrative duties assigned by the Nurse Manager.
~Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations within the facility.
~Support the healthcare team in various capacities as needed.
~Be flexible and adaptable in covering staff vacations or absences.
Schedule:
Every Tuesday & Friday
Every other Monday & Thursday
Total weekly hours: 16-24 hours
Qualifications:
~Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
~Previous experience in patient care and administrative duties is preferred.
~Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
~Ability to function effectively as part of a healthcare team.
~Flexibility in scheduling to assist with covering staff absences.
~Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
~A commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
