Darla Gettle joined Lancaster County Career & Technology Center in August of 2015. She was previously employed by Harris Specialized Student Solutions as their Director of Sales. Prior to her tenure at Harris, Darla had more than 20 years of Career and Technical Education experience at the Lebanon County Career and Technology Center. While at Lebanon, Darla was a classroom instructor for the Office Technology program, Guidance Counselor, and Cooperative Education Coordinator. In addition, she was responsible for the administration of the ClassMate student information system, all PIMS state reporting, and NOCTI assessment testing. Prior to beginning her career in education, Mrs. Gettle had over eight years of experience in the IT field as a trainer, programmer, and systems analyst.
Darla’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), Vocational and Instructional teaching certifications in Computer Information Technology, Cooperative Education, and Business Education K-12. She earned her Master’s degree in Secondary School Counseling in 2007 from West Chester University and completed her Vocational Administrative Director Certification at Penn State University in 2011.
