If nothing else, the world-wide shutdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated the vital importance of essential workers in the current economy. From commercial truck drivers to healthcare professionals to welders and beyond, the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center remains in operation during the shutdown to train the next generation of essential workers.
We have developed online instruction for many of our adult education programs. Our students take courses, attend lectures, collaborate with peers, meet with instructors, and submit homework all safely and virtually. We offer our online courses with the anticipation that, when restrictions are lifted for in-person instruction, our students will be ready to practice and fulfill their clinical, hands-on requirements.
