Molimo Architectural Product Testing is seeking experienced Welder/Fabricators to join our dynamic team.
Molimo is an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory that provides quality assurance and certification testing to the fenestration, building and construction industries. Our business has experienced continued growth and need quality, growth-minded employees looking to help continue the company’s success.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Fabricate, layout, assemble and weld according to drawings/blueprints
• Steel preparation including cutting (saw and/or torch), grinding, ironworker and etc.
• Construction of mock-up test chambers
• Demolition and clean-up of mock-up test chambers
• Assist clients with mock-up installation (when required)
• Test fixture fabrication and assembly
• Work with Department Managers, Project Managers and Clients on assigned projects
Qualifications:
• Minimum of one (1) year welding/fabrication experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read and understand drawings/blueprints
• Ability to fabricate from drawings/blueprints
• Experience with all required tools and equipment
• Ability to operate forklifts, manlifts and other material handling equipment
• Commercial construction experience preferred but not required
• Work either independently and/or in a team environment
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Work at heights up to 50 feet
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the year
• Own a reasonable complement of basic hand tools
• Valid driver’s license and personal transportation
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Pay: $20 to $25 per hour
