We have a team-based approach to practicing veterinary medicine, where all members collaborate to offer our patients the most comprehensive medical care possible. We encourage our staff members to pursue areas of interest and to continue elevating their skills. In our hospital, veterinary technicians focus primarily on direct patient care, via medical and surgical nursing responsibilities. An ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a willingness to work closely with others as a team. They must have completed an AVMA accredited veterinary technician program and passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) (preferred). A dedication to the compassionate care of our companion pets, as well as a demonstrated respect for their teammates and our clients is a must.

Additionally, we offer a 401K plan with company contributions, uniform allowance, professional development assistance, certification renewal coverage, paid vacations, holidays, and personal time, as well as discounted products and services.

We emphasize the importance of good work-life balance by maintaining regular scheduling, guaranteed breaks, and hospital-sponsored events. Our flexible scheduling allows for either 8- or 10- hours shifts, with one Saturday or Sunday shift per month. A weekend shift consists of either Saturday morning appointments/evening treatments or Sunday morning/evening treatments, with possible daytime emergency visits. All overnight calls are directed to a local emergency clinic. Full lunch breaks are guaranteed. We routinely find reasons to celebrate, such as our First Day of Summer Italian Ice Party, our Vet Tech Week events (including veterinary bingo) or just because it’s a Friday!
