Unarmed Security Supervisor (2019PFO11)

Information Network Associates, Inc. (INA) is currently a seeking a security professional to join our organization as an Unarmed Security Supervisor at a client site in the York, Pennsylvania area. The Site Supervisor will act as the company’s point of contact for the site, interfacing with the client as well as members of INA’s leadership team, ensuring all contractual and operational requirements are met. This position is a working Supervisor, considered a safety sensitive position, and is essential to provide safety and security services for INA as well as the client site.

Essential duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Providing day to day oversight and guidance to staff whose skills range from entry level to experienced.
• Supporting and motivating staff by providing ongoing guidance, mentoring, and feedback to ensure competent performance while adhering to company policy and procedure.
• Ensuring the site is staffed and shifts are filled per contractual requirements with properly certified and trained officers.
• Serving as primary point of contact for officers assigned to the site.
• Based on contractual requirements, developing and disseminating post orders for site projects; clearly communicate to all affected staff.
• Preparing and submitting payroll, leave requests, and/or coaching/discipline documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Providing input as to suitability of prospective candidates for open positions.
• Ensuring all staff receives applicable training, including, but not limited to firearm qualifications, MOAB, Use of Force, etc.
• Performing security and resource protection services per local, state, and federal laws, company policies and procedures, and standard operating procedures.
• Apprehending or detaining subjects within jurisdiction limitations and in accordance with instructions and provisions of applicable laws and regulations.
• Responding to emergent situations.
• Conducting patrols of grounds, buildings, and property as specified.

The ideal candidate will be required to possess a high school diploma or GED with two to five years’ supervisory experience. A college degree in a related field or three years of law enforcement experience as a sworn Police Officer or Military Police Officer, or five years of experience in armed security or protective force services, or a combination of experience and relevant education is preferred. Prior military experience is preferred.

This position will primarily work Monday through Friday, day shift, but may be required to work outside those hours to include nights, weekends, and/or holidays based on the needs of the business. Overtime will be worked as needed. Compensation will be in the range of $15.25 per hour to $16.25 per hour, commensurate with a candidate’s experience. As a full time officer, this position will be eligible for a robust benefit package including medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, etc.
