Whitaker Early Learing Center is a privately-woman owned, and professionally managed Child Care & Early Learning Center. We have high values, and strive to maintain quality service and excellent care to our families and children.
We provide training and professional support to our staff, with the goal of seeing them develop and grow in experience.
What Site Amenites:
We are conveniently located at the Food Court Wing Entrance of Park City Center. Our location has Security video monitoring, Ample parking, and near multiple highways, towns and Lancaster City.

Teacher Skills Needed:
– Greet Families Respectfully
– Maintain appropriate and professional communication with fellow staff, management, families and children
-Supervise children while also motivating them to use their individual strength, talents and exercise their imagination.
-Follow program routine and also have the ability to be flexible concerning program and children’s needs
-Fluent in the English language and English writing skills.
-Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action.
-Adhere with teaching standards, safety & health regulations as established by the Department Human Services, City of Lancaster Health and Fire Department
-Ability to use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance each child’s abilities to learn and grow
-Familiar with the PA Early Educational Learning Standards
-Patience, flexibility and love for all children
-Strong communication with families, fellow staff persons and management
-Time management skills and ability to make best practice decision making choices
-Appropriate behavior and conversation with all children in care
-Maintain updated clearances, trainings and job responsibilities
-Strong in technology usage, and ability to document developmental goals and daily child reports.

Salary: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
