Lititz recCenter is a leading recreation services provider in Lancaster County and operates one of the region’s largest aquatics recreation programs. We are seeking part-time swimming lesson instructors to work with children and/or adults in our indoor pools. Part-time schedules are flexible for shifts in early morning, daytime, evening or Saturdays. Weekly 5-20 hours are available. Additional hours are available for candidates who become or maintain certified lifeguard status. Seasonal or year-round employment available.
Swim instructors will schedule and conduct private or small group lessons in indoor pool setting according to approved water safety curriculum and leveled skill progression.
Candidates should be confident and experienced swimmers. Swim instructor certification is preferred but not required. Previous experience working with children, coaching, or instruction is preferred.
Clearances are required upon hire. FirstAid/CPR training is required and available through Lititz recCenter. Lifeguard certification is optional and available through Lititz recCenter.
