The Information Technology Resident Support provides training and support for all resident’s IT needs and provides audio-visual (A/V) support. This position is performed in accordance with Mennonite Home Communities Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Additional formal education, training, or equivalent work experience -preferred.
-Customer Service skills and/or experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
-Provides resident IT support to both the Mennonite Home and Woodcrest Villa campuses which includes but is not limited to assisting with wireless connectivity, hardware and software support, and A/V support. Checks-in with Mennonite Home campus IT team daily.
-Displays a strong understanding of many different consumer-related IT solutions / Internet of Things (IoT) devices and a general understanding of how they work. These solutions can be hardware, software, websites, and IT-related services.
-Works closely with the Marketing team to coordinate a positive and proactive new resident move-in experience for the Woodcrest Villa campus. Schedules initial move-in IT on-boarding sessions with Woodcrest Villa residents which include set-up of resident devices, as needed, and an overview of IT services provided.
-Documents new tickets as well as monitors and updates the resident IT ticketing system to track support requests and to ensure timely response to residents. Answers resident phone calls to the IT Help Desk. Works closely with the Lead IT Specialist to coordinate tickets and track ticket progress ensuring resident tickets are followed up in established timeframes.
-In close partnership with A/V leads in Resident Services, Pastoral Care, and Personal Care Community Life, provides support of A/V equipment for both campuses during regular business hours. Assists with documenting, troubleshooting, and supporting A/V systems at both campus and is available to assist with scheduled programs as needed. Provides primary support of A/V vendor relationship including scheduling of vendor service visits to both campuses, as needed.
