Paid Parking Attendant

Traffic team members are the first and final interaction at the Hershey Entertainment Complex, providing an exceptional arrival and departure experience to guests and employees. In Paid Parking, you are responsible for collecting parking fees and validating parking passes upon guest arrival to HersheyparkⓇ or other events.

Job Functions:

Collect payment for parking via cash, credit, or gift card and issue appropriate change and parking ticket
Verify prepaid parking and other passes
Maintain accurate vehicle counts

Basic Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age or older on the date of applying
Must be able to speak and read the English language
Must have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shifts

Additional Qualifications:

Must work well independently, and be able to clearly and confidently communicate with guests and other employees
Must be detail oriented and have clear verbal and written communication skills
Must be comfortable working around various types of traffic in a fast-paced environment
Must be comfortable handling and safeguarding large amounts of cash
Must be comfortable working with basic technology (credit card machine and a computer)
Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and maintain professional image in compliance with the Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines
Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements

Working Conditions:

Ability to traverse stairs
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Although primarily in a toll booth, you must be able to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.
Physical requirements include prolonged sitting in a stationary location, bending, standing, walking, and being in an enclosed space (toll booth)
Must be able to lift approximately 10 pounds
