We are Bortek Industries. We’re an industry leader in industrial cleaning equipment. Our Headquarters in Mechanicsburg, PA is pleased to announce our internship opportunities for the summer of 2023.
In this paid position, you will work alongside experienced technicians, assisting with repairs on equipment ranging from walk-behind floor scrubbers, ride-on sweeper / scrubbers, up to street sweepers. Some work will be in-shop and some will be on the road with our Field Service Techs.
The goal of this internship is to transition to full-time employment in the future. We are open to part-time and full-time hours and will work with your schedule. The duration of the internships is 3 months, with the possibility of being extended.
Learn about our industry and gain some valuable hands-on experience! Our machines run on battery, LP, propane and gas.
Heavy equipment backgrounds with hydraulics do well in this position. Customer service is also a key component of the job.
Minimum Requirements:
Strong preference for students enrolled in technical or vocational school. Must be in good standing with a good academic record.
Clean driving record.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be 18 years of age.
