Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe maintenance, repair, and replacement of plant equipment to ensure maximum productive uptime.

• Ensure production equipment is safe, clean, and functional
• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose problems, repair, adjust, and perform routine preventative maintenance
• Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, trouble shooting and repair of production machines
• Use a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment to perform job functions
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Detect and report faulty operations, defective material, and any unusual situations to proper supervision
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Other related duties

• Proficient with basic hand and power tools
• Ability to read and understand operation and maintenance manuals
• Must have the ability to read drawing and schematics
• High mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• A strong understanding of electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics, and power transmission
• A strong understanding of lock out / tag out
• A strong knowledge of industrial power controls & electrical skills
• Ability to safely use forklifts, bucket lifts, and scissor lifts
• Comfortable with heights
• Familiar with PLC Controls/CNC Machinery
• Experienced with use and servicing of overhead cranes and lifting devises


• Exposure to welding fumes, grinding dust, chemicals, moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, and high noise environments.
• Must be able to complete and pass a physical assessment
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation
• High School diploma
• Vocational training in Electrical, HVAC, Machining, Welding, preferred
• This position requires a self-motivated high energy individual that can think on his feet

Starting wage ranges based on experience
