Maintenance Electrician (2nd or 3rd Shift)

Full-time Position, Available on: 2022-05-02

Do you have a passion for troubleshooting, repairing, and collaborating on electrical components? We have an opening in our state-of-the-art facility for a Maintenance Electrician in Lancaster, PA. You will be partnering with Operations, Quality Food Safety, and Environmental Health and Safety personnel as you keep the plant and production running. You will act as a problem-solver who helps our company maintain a strong reputation and market share!

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Maintaining Equipment and Amplifying Your PLC Knowledge – You will be constantly alternating in between troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and on the spot machine repair. You will need a firm focus and understanding of programmable logic controllers. This person must be creative in their solutions with being clear in their documentation, electric upgrades, and modification improvements.
Analyzing Conditions and Providing Solutions – Identifying and examining production equipment failures to understand root cause analysis, with the help of interpreting schematics and drawings. Investigating, repairing electrical systems & mechanical systems while working with PLC’s programming.
Prioritizing Innovation and Communication – Actively seeking ways to improve plant efficiency and identifying cost saving opportunities. All while maintaining an open dialogue with the Maintenance Supervisor regarding day-to-day activities and working side by side with Maintenance Mechanics.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

Journeyman’s OR Electronics Degree and 3 years of Industrial Electrical Maintenance.
PLC experience
High School diploma or GED
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Demonstrated knowledge of behavior-based safety systems
Sitting, standing, walking, lifting and / or repetitive tasks throughout the day. Employee will be required to occasionally lift up to 50lbs

Bonus Points:

Previous experience working in a food manufacturing plant
