Contributes to the organization and administration of individualized, professional patient care by an RN
Provides nursing care as directed by the medical staff in accordance with the multidisciplinary treatment plan objectives, policies, and procedures of Retreat and the Nurse Practice Act
Maintains standards of nursing care as established. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning
Ability to function calmly in crisis situations
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all staff, patients, outside agencies, families, and the general public.
Ability to assist in curating care plans with measurable goals and identify appropriate nursing interventions.
Organization ability and excellent communication skills. Excellent writing skills as well as the ability to produce comprehensive documentation including measurable objectives.
Must have excellent skills in verbal communication, good organization and time management skills, and familiarity and competency with personal computer applications.
