What You’ll Do:
As a Lead Server, you will carry out our Mission of Love by assuring that residents and visitors are welcomed and seating is coordinated. Assists manager in overseeing service, safety and sanitation. Responds to customer’s questions, requests and concerns to provide an excellent dining experience. Performs opening and closing procedures.
Our Lead Server is responsible for the following:
Assumes responsibility of the Manager in their absence. Seats residents in a timely, fashion .Assures flow is maintained for servers. Greets resident’s tables to assure prompt and courteous service is maintained.
Monitors quality and temperature of food, ensures all temperature food logs are maintained and corrective action is initiated if necessary.
Assist with all computer work related to Freemason operation, this includes Card watch, and Computrician menus and reports.
Make sure all equipment is working and refrigerator and dishwasher temperatures are logged daily.
Assists manager in training and supervising Freemason personnel, enforces all regulations, policies, procedures including Food Safety, ,monitoring Child Labor law and Minor break schedules. Directs staff in proper cleaning procedures and assignment to assure a clean and organized working environment.
Ensure proper labeling dating and rotation of food on a daily basis
Conducts pre-meal meetings, reviews menu, and important information to staff in absence of Manager.
Demonstrates actions that promote an Excellent Dining Experience for residents and visitors of Freemason
What You Have:
Minimum 1 year working experience in Personal Care Food Services preferred.
Completion of Food Services Ladder Program required
Strong Leadership skills
Good written, oral, organizational and computer skills
