Masonic Village at Elizabethtown is hiring a Landscape Gardener. This is a Full Time Day opportunity.

What You’ll Do:

As a Landscape Gardener, you will carry out our Mission of Love by coordinating with the Landscape Supervisors to plan, design and implement work schedules and projects to manage and maintain various areas of the campus.  These areas include, but are not limited to resident cottages, apartments, administrative buildings, public space and gardens, farm and orchard acreage and woodlands. Our Landscape Gardener are responsible for the following:

Assist in planning, coordinating and performing any landscape management practices necessary to maintain the campus.
Maintain accurate records of pesticide, fertilizer and soil amendment applications.
Possess the ability to understand basic horticultural practices and general best management practices.
Proper use of Personal Protection Equipment at all times. Operate equipment in the proper and safe manner as outlined in the operating manuals.
Supervise and assist in educating Gardeners in all of the above functions and competencies.
What You Definitely Have:

A high school graduate or equivalent.
A valid Pa. Driver’s License.
Ability to acquire a PA state pesticide applicator’s certification.
Good written, oral, organizational and basic computer skills.
