Masonic Village Home Health, Hospice and Home Care is hiring a Homemaker/Companion. This is a Full Time/Part Time/Pool Day, Evening, Night and Weekend opportunity.

What You’ll Do:

As a Homemaker/Companion you will carry out our Mission of Love by performing various services to residents in their home.  Provides non-professional services and assistance. Our Homemaker/Companions are responsible for the following:

Assist residents with activities of daily living i.e. bathing, hair care, nail care, mouth care, feeding, skin care, and toileting. Completes and documents all care as assigned accurately and in a timely manner.
Independently organizes work and provides effective companionship services to residents accurately and completely in a timely manner.
Advocates for resident/ family concerning aspects of care, needs, and services.
Provides quality companionship services to seniors in their homes with specific services as outlined in the service plan.
Demonstrates a neat, professional appearance, and good hygiene.
Transports resident to activities or appointments and run errands as directed by the service plan. Participates in educational programs as indicated.
What You Definitely Have:

Must have a sincere interest in working with the elderly.
A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
Must have a current and valid PA Driver’s license.
Previous experience in assisting with activities of daily living is preferred.
Must be 18 years old or older.
Be willing to travel throughout Lancaster county.
