SM Johns & Son Construction – Auto shop
Immediate opening! We have an opening for an experienced heavy truck mechanic with a current Class 7 inspection license / tanker endorsement.
Duties:
Must have the knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair all types of trucks, vehicles and heavy equipment.
Familiarity with Computer Diagnostics.
Emphasis on Mack trucks and heavy construction equipment (trackhoe/backhoe/skid loader/etc.)
Must work well alone AND with other team members.
This position may require field repairs and maintenance as needed. (Company service vehicle)
Ability to weld a plus, but not required.
Qualifications:
Inspection Mechanic Class 7 is required. Tanker endorsement is needed.
Heavy equipment knowledge is a plus but not required.
